Frequently asked questions
Can I translate a webtoon on my phone while scrolling?
Yes. Choose “Manhwa, webtoons — Korea”, open the episode and turn on auto mode in the floating button’s menu: bubbles are translated as they appear.
Does it work in webtoon apps and on websites?
Yes. Magavis works on top of any app or browser — it reads the screen, so it does not matter where you read.
Is Magavis free?
The first 3 days are free: enter your email in the app and we’ll send you a trial key, cloud translation included (up to 100 pages a day). After that the subscription costs $5 a month, and one key works on two phones.
Does Magavis need root or a special reader app?
No. It works on top of any app using Android's screen capture and "display over other apps" permissions. You need Android 9 or newer.
Are my screenshots sent anywhere?
No. On-device translation never sends anything. Cloud translation sends only the recognized lines of text, never images of your screen.
